I assume most of you guys have read this paper and realise it makes very little sense? If not I can break it down, but I would rather not have to. It took me most of yesterday afternoon to unravel it.
Even the title is misleading "Kamala Harris is Mostly White." Apart from the paper doesn't prove this. I think "mostly" is ambiguous in this context. Does he mean the largest single part of Harris genetic make-up is white or that she is over half white i.e. more than all other parts combined? I certainly would initially assume over 50% but I do understand that "most" would strictly mean just the largest component. I think Miles is gong a bit tabloid here.
The fact that she claims to be (and has sufficient black to do so) is the important issue, as it proves were the privilege lies in the race politics of the US now. It also proves that, even historically, wealth trumps race and our elites don't mind race mixing, so how can there be a race war? Points that I don't think Miles raised. Or, in Miles speak, a door that Miles skilfully steers the reader away from instead leaving them in an autistic discussion about historic genealogy. Which is exactly where the mainstream want the discussion.
