PLEASE increase the contrast of text to background. Low contrast documents are harder to read. That is why most documents use black print on white paper. If someone told you that low contrast print was cool or "easier on the eyes" they were pulling your leg. If you want to make it easier on the eyes then make it a black BG with white text. But, gray text on a beige BG is very tiring to read.

Ok good point. background could be more white, letters be darker. The reverse (White text on black BG) is VERY tiring to my eyes. But we don't have to hassle about all that maybe: On the 'Edit Profile & Settings' page of your own profile, where you changed your avatar, is also a 'settings' menu, there is also an opportunity there to chose your own theme. The only thing is there is as yet nothing to chose from apart from this default one. I'm still figuring out how this all works, but what I read in the 'Help' sections all those adjustments can only be done by the admin. Which reminds me of another thing: this whole thread should be in milesmathis.freeforums.net/board/6/suggestions-forum just to not be all over the place. |
