There’s a lot about tunnels. I always thought you couldn’t kick a rock in Israel without getting permission from the archaeologists, let alone dig tunnels through what could be valuable ancient ruins.
Are the tunnels fake? Or is the archaeology fake?

I suppose they keep a tight leash on any archaeologic findings, in Israel even more than in other places. If someone finds stuff there that looks too Phoenician, or in any other way contradicts the official Bible stories, then I'd imagine they seal the site, and once their own guys are done with it, the non-compliant stuff is gone. But the Hamas tunnels are probably like in the Lestrade analyses: There may be some tunnel all right, but not of the size that you could hide hostages or an army in it. It says here that the tunnel is 66 feet underground and built with 800 tons of concrete. Heh. The other numbers may be phunny hoax markers too, didn't know those yet.

The tunnels could be in a Hollywood soundstage, too.
