Looks like @swathy is going to be doing the poll for paper of the year over on mathaisianhaven this year. Being a tad aspie I am gong to have to collate all the papers and remind myself of what was published this year. If I had to guess what my favourite would be, I think it would be his paper about turning 60, I thought that contained the most philosophical and spiritual insights into Mathaisian thought, which I do like to hear. So, what are your thoughts and opinions on what this year's numerus unus paper is?

That’s a hard question, it was a prolific year. There need to be categories. History (WWII, etc), philosophy (Turning 60, etc), Current Events, and so on.

Maybe science, arts and guests would be the simplest way to break it down. Too many categories might make it too much admin for the pollsters.

Just did a brief browsing through the choices. Don't know yet, maybe "Oppenheimer was a Fraud"?

erwin Indeed, for a subject he doesn't like and feels he is weaker on it is very impressive.

dentarthurdent I was contemplating whether that was a 2023 paper as it originates in 2022 and it was just updates this year. It is a cracking paper though. That was one hell of a hoax. I bet they are secretly glad of the attention their hoaxing gets without the mass of people catching on. I wonder what those new recruits are up to now? Do you reckon they have finished basic training?

Just re-arranged my pdf archive, putting guest papers / updated older papers / science papers in different folders. Today's terrain.pdf also looks like a contender. It mentions 'virus' a few times, so it will probably annoy part of the readers because of that. But Miles his outing of the people involved makes that part perfectly clear.

I scrolled down to the first of this year and started looking from there. Didn’t remember that it came out last year.

erwin Yes, Terrain is a goodie. It was a thing I was getting into a bit on mathaisianhaven, it looks like Miles has been inspired by me to write something on the matter (only joking, just a little gentle joshing - oh better not say that) of Miles' writing style. He has done a very good job on a lot of front to set the record straight and show the real dialectics that are at work, @detnarthurdent No worries, easy mistake, it is a hard site to see the list of papers by year, especially as Miles is so prolific.
