Miles mentions a comic strip in his bio called Squib, I never gave that name any thought. Until kevin posted a link over on MH to ET's World Occult Circus Substack Squib... This is the pressurized device that is used to produce the illusion of a gunshot wound in all staged situations like films and military drills. It is attached to a pack of fake blood to achieve this visual effect:
squib 1 small firecracker.
2 broken firecracker that burns but does not explode.
3 brief satirical or witty writing or speech, such as a lampoon.
4 short, sometimes humorous piece in a newspaper or magazine, usually used as a filler.
5 squib kick.
I assume the comic strip was referring to definition 3 & 4, but 1, 2 & 5 are interesting alternate meanings Honestly, I only went to the blog to see what the symbolism in the Super Bowl half-time show was. I am v. suspicious about the blog author too (don't know why) but it is a well written piece with some very good observations. Again, I am just expressing what I find. Not that I am American but free speech and all that. A rule which I fell foul of across there. This time I will stop short of drawing any kind of inference or conclusions and leave that for you to if you wish. Edited: to change MH poster to Kevin originally thought it was @3rddoorman but he posted the post just below that one.
