I used to rock out to Disturbed back in the day. I did find out that Draiman is a phoeny: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Draiman

Their discography still kicks ass, though. The Sickness. But if you review their lyrics and music, it seems very much about corrupting the goyim so to speak.

Unfortunately, every famous band, heavy or no, when it comes down it are one and the same - though some are more subtle than others. But do we reject everything and listen to nothing?

My brother sent me a link the other day to YouTube videos of the guitarist Ron Eschete. Specifically, his interpretations of Christmas songs. Wonderful player with an amazing chord vocabulary. He made me think of the person from whom I have been taking lessons. I mentioned Eschete to him and he had studied under Eschete at the Musician's Institute in L.A. back in 89-90. What a small world.

I quit listening to music for years because I grew tired of hearing the same classic rock over and over. And when I became aware of the spooky agenda of the music industry I really chose to avoid exposing myself to music because I felt much of its effects were likely subliminal. They are a primarily instrumental band and phenomenally talented musicians. Two other artists who create equally beautiful modern guitar music are Charlie Robbins (Syncatto) and Bernth.
