I just came across a Youtube video from A YEAR AGO that shows an old video of the Hindenburg disaster filmed by someone whose footage was never made public until now. Here's the link: Newly Analyzed Footage Helps Solve Hindenburg Mystery www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFCgipjR2ow
It wastes a lot of timing proving that the footage is genuine, so it's just the last few minutes that show a zeppelin coming to land and then exploding and burning in the air. It was a little too dark to make out words or the gondola, but I found some photos from the well-known film on this website: rarehistoricalphotos.com/hindenburg-disaster-pictures/ . Captions are under the images below.
The Hindenburg dumps water to ensure a smoother landing in Lakehurst, New Jersey, on May 9, 1936. {}
The German dirigible Hindenburg, just before it crashed before landing at the U.S. Naval Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey, on May 6, 1937.
At approximately 7:25 p.m. local time, the German zeppelin Hindenburg burst into flames as it nosed toward the mooring post at the Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey, on May 6, 1937. The airship was still some 200 feet above the ground.
This image captures a moment between the second and third explosions before the airship hit the ground.
As the lifting Hydrogen gas burned and escaped from the rear of the Hindenburg, the tail dropped to the ground, sending a burst of flame punching through the nose. Ground crew below scatter to flee the inferno.

In the 3rd image where it catches on fire, I can still see the swastika on the tail, the 4 engines, the gondola near the front and a word above the gondola, which is presumably Hindenburg, as in the first 2 images.
In the 4th image, I can make out 2 engines on the near side and the gondola.
In the last image, I don't see the gondola, but I see what might be the word Hindenburg or maybe a longer name or word.
It looks like the crash may be genuine.
Or has Miles analyzed these photos already? Here's his paper: mileswmathis.com/hind.pdf
He has the last 2 images or frames close to those, but he doesn't show the 3rd image.
My guess from this is that the Hindenburg did crash, but I don't know of evidence that there were passengers aboard. I guess there had to be a crew aboard to fly it.
Okay, I went back and rewatched the new film linked above and at about the 6 minute mark I can see the gondola as the airship starts burning.
