1. A "meta" board for posts such as this one.
2. A lifestyle/hobbies/odd-topics board with pro tips for independent living or just miscellaneous discussion.
3. Make "Meeting MM" a thread rather than a board.
4. Require approval to register (rather than to post as on cttf). Ask prospective users a few easy questions, like who they are, how they found out about MM, etc., and review the answers for sense. That should weed out the bots and low-effort spook attacks. I'm willing to help screen applications if that proves time-consuming.
5. A basic code of conduct. For example: Don't be a jerk; stay on topic; no personal feuds; no spamming with music videos, movie clips or memes. Issue warnings for borderline behavior and a three-strikes policy for serious infractions. The goal should be to encourage quality discussion and discourage low-effort posting.
6. STYLE! Try a new color scheme. Put a nice picture (perhaps a Renaissance detail) in the banner rather than the current... thing. A beautiful site will attract good people.
7. Where possible, invite quality contributors directly, rather than posting links to the forum on public sites. Let cttf tie up the bots and agents while this one grows by word of mouth.

1. A "meta" board for posts such as this one. There's already one, and it's literally called "Suggestions For The Forum". It's the penultimate board on the homepage. Further I agree with you there's maybe just a little bit too many boards on the homepage (I gather that's your reason for wanting the 'Meet Miles Mathis' Board to be a Thread), and it may be also the cause you missed that one.

I don't see it. Maybe it's only visible to mods?

Only bots get removed. And cursing is not allowed to other members. 6) yes, i looked into this and it is possible but have to really get into it, i would think a Miles Mathis painting for a background of the banner, the actual background, i dunno, it should be calm.. maybe an empty painting canvas, that is what i was going for, but it lookd more like a light grey granite... 7 Sure, do it.

4 sounds fine to me. 5 sounds like too much work and would probably involve too much subjectivity.
