Why is the lighting quite dark in the photos of himself (Miles Mathis)? Is it to reduce the appearance of his thinning hair (as admitted by himself) and the lines on his face? Looking more closely I can see age spots as well, and creases of the skin on his arms, which of course is normal for his age. But a 60 year old sporting Hollister teenage clothes is cringey. Daniel Archer, are you aware of the age group and target audience of the "Hollister" brand of clothes? Miles Mathis sure knows about brands messages such as Nike's "Just Do It" campaign since he wrote about it, but he wouldn't know about the Hollister brand? I don't believe that. "When it comes to the marketing for Hollister, their target audience tends to strike most with the teenager age group at 14–18". medium.com/97th-avenue/fashion-brands-what-does-your-focus-say-about-you-6c9854984a98Daniel Archer, there is this phenomenon called the "Kidult" and sad boomer syndromes. Those speci-men and women have been conditioned by the media to not dress their age, and not act their age. By trying to look younger at all costs, they're making fools of themselves. Not long ago I saw a fool in his fifties riding one of those stupid, dangerous powered scooters on the sidewalk. Guess what, he was sporting a Champion sweatshirt...Those specimens are in such oblivion they probably don't realise other people are making fun of them. I meet teenagers who are more mature than supposed grown-ups who are meant to set the example in society. I don't think Miles Mathis is showing much acceptance of his age, or much common sense by sporting a "Hollister" branded tee-shirt. When I see a 60 year old guy wearing that sort of clothes it says "kidult" who's refusing to age and dress his age. There's no shame in dressing and acting your age, you know. It's called common sense.

Yeah it is a bit dark, but he looks good laughing.
Other than that i don't really care. Why are you "trying" to make a fuss about it....

My point that went over your head, D A, is why should be take so-called advice from an immature "boomer" like him, not just stuck in his teenage years, but also claiming to age much better than people besides himself, including his own family, when we've only got his word for it? It's deluded.
Physically, from the darkish photos, he looks like he could be in his early fifties instead of 60, but so do other people I see or know personally. He's not ageing exceptionally well unlike what he's claiming. Unlike you I don't find his smile particularly engaging; his teeth are misaligned and don't look very clean.
According to his paper, he and his family are in competitive mode, instead of having fun and being creative together. Their gold-playing is just mean, pretentious rivalry between each other, Miles included, they all sound like a boring and highly unlikable bunch who deserve each other.
Which reminds me that Miles Mathis' mother was into politics (before she got thrashed, according to Miles' own words on CTTF, a few years back). What kind of people get into politics? Our "dear friends" the "Phoenicians"? Evil, competitive predators who lie, cheat and steal from others.
So no, I don't think I'm just "trying to make a fuss about it", DA. And feel free to censor in your own place, of course.

Minor point, the Phoenies don’t “get into” politics, they are born into it. And the rest of us receive a thrashing if we try to “get into” it.
Otherwise, I think you’re overthinking this and looking to stir up shit to make yourself feel good.
Go ahead and make a passive-aggressive dig at me like you did to Daniel, and get that out of the way.

Hey Daniel Archer , I've already used this cool Freeforum feature where you can block certain members if you find their posts are too spammy. Like, spam-censoring on an individual level. Is there a feature where you can block non-member guests, like if you suspect them of being bots or trolls?

I can block IPs, but the IPs keep changing so that does not do any good. And no, there is no way to block guests, i do want to keep the feature open so anyone can comment, just have to deal with the AI/bots.

Guys like Miles aren't my type. Sore eyes and dodgy teeth. He'd look better in a plain shirt and without the beard. Watch out beards pull features down, and age. Otherwise he looks ok, at least he removed his glasses for the photos.
Miles is right about moving house being one of the most stressful things to experience, maybe even worse than divorce or having children, apparently.
What makes me laugh is when he writes "Most of all I detest the American Dream: the lawns (...)" .So he dislikes lawns but he's quite happy to play on golf course lawns...yeah right. Incoherent, much? Politics and golf are both games for competitive, self-serving ass-holes and rich snobby jerks of all sorts (born in it or not, "PN" or not). With too much money and time on their hands. All the misery in this world comes from competition, ambition, greed and huge egos as seen in all types of assholes. My brother, who plays tennis, golf, and works in global marketing, has now turned into an insufferable jerk, and he got vaxxed. He thinks he's highly intelligent based on an IQ test made by tyrants only to serve tyrant assholes...IQ test my foot, that's just screening for slaves' capacity in the tyrants' matrix.

Are you telling us there aren't any cheap shirts with no logo or name, on Ebay or anywhere cheap... at all? They do exist you know, easy to find if you want to. Nah, he would still go for teenage brands not surprising given his strong peter pan tendencies... at 60 years old. Dying his beard like an good urban "metrosexual" man

Deleting stuff would solve a lot of these issues, but hey we have been through this before.
